Chisoc would like to wish everyone a happy new year! Thank you for your support on the 7th - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed organising it! The event was the Birmingham Chinese Society’s first event and a great learning experience, and will only get better from now on. We would like to thank (in no particular order) Hou, Henry, Eddie, Mandy, Brea, Cam, Sally and so many others for their help at the event and preparation. The event could not have happened without you! Really, the society owes you their thanks.
We also would like to give a BIG thank you to the Birmingham University Guild of Students for supplying us with the projector, laptop with no power adaptor, projector screen, tables, a plentiful one single plug socket for 18 rice cookers and consequently 3 broken electrical fuses. POOF! BOOM! 
If you haven’t met the Chisoc committee yet, or if you didn’t get a chance to attend yesterday’s event, there will be plenty of chances in the future - so look forward to our upcoming events! Meanwhile, find out more about the committee on this website.
